People experiencing homelessness in Malaysia continue to face significant challenges related to food insecurity. Due to various hardships, they rely on NGOs to access nutritious food daily, as well as other basic services.

Through its "Soup Kitchen" programme, the Kechara Soup Kitchen Society (KSK Society) seeks to alleviate homelessness in Malaysia, creating lasting positive change within the most vulnerable communities it serves across the country. With the support of numerous volunteers and partners, the organisation connects people experiencing homelessness with essential services, including food aid, medical care, shelter, job placement, and other critical needs.

The project supported by the Audemars Piguet Foundation for Common Good aims to strengthen KSK Society’s ability to serve the homeless population. Focused on food distribution, this initiative will benefit approximately 720 homeless individuals in Kuala Lumpur. This support will not only meet their immediate nutritional needs but also contribute to an overall improvement in their quality of life.
