Opera San Francesco per i Poveri (OSF) is an Italian charity that supports people in need, particularly homeless or marginalised people. Founded in 1959, it provides practical support to those who are struggling by offering them essential resources and helping to restore their dignity and self-esteem.

One of this NGO’s initiatives is to provide hot meals (comprising a starter, main course and dessert) to more than 2,100 people every day from Monday to Saturday. These meals are served by volunteers at midday and in the evening in its canteen on Corso Concordia, in the heart of Milan. This space is much more than just a canteen: it offers beneficiaries a warm and friendly atmosphere and gives them valuable human support to help combat social isolation.

The aim of the "One meal a day" project is to boost this aid scheme by distributing 125,000 additional meals over two years to meet growing demand and to continue to provide support to those who need it most.
